Policies

We’re committed to creating a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for families. Please review our policies to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all visitors.

General Guidelines

Age Range: Play Hideaway is designed primarily for children aged 0-6 years, but we welcome older siblings who may relax or do homework in designated areas.

Parental Supervision: Parents or guardians are required to supervise their children at all times while in the play area. We encourage active participation and engagement in play to foster a safe and supportive environment.

Respectful Behavior: We ask all visitors to treat one another with kindness and respect. Any behavior that disrupts the experience of others may result in removal from the space.

Health and Safety

Nut-Free Zone: To ensure the safety of all our visitors, Play Hideaway is a nut-free environment. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any nut products into the space.

Cleaning and Hygiene: We maintain a high standard of cleanliness in our facility. Regular sanitization of toys, surfaces, and common areas is carried out throughout the day. Please help us by using hand sanitizers provided at key locations and encouraging your child to wash their hands frequently.

First Aid and Emergency Protocols: Our staff is trained in basic first aid. In the event of an emergency, our team will follow established safety protocols. If your child has any medical conditions or allergies, please inform our staff upon arrival.

Sick and Illness Policy: For the health and safety of all families, we ask that any children or grown-ups showing signs of illness (such as fever, cough, runny nose, or fatigue) remain at home. If a staff member observes symptoms of illness upon entry, we reserve the right to deny entry to the facility.

In such cases, a credit will be issued for a future visit, and we encourage you to reschedule your visit once you are feeling better. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy environment for all families.

Booking and Cancellations

Drop-in Play: Drop-in play is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but we recommend booking in advance during peak times (weekends, holidays) to ensure availability. Drop-in play, multi-day play passes, and memberships are final sale. However, we understand that life happens, and we will do our best to accommodate any changes or issues to make things right.

Class and Program Reservations: Pre-registration is required for all classes and programs. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice before the first class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the first class will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Birthday Party and Event Rentals: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event are eligible for a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund.

Food and Beverages

On-Site Snacks and Drinks: We offer coffee, tea, and a selection of snacks and refreshments. Parents and guardians are welcome to relax and enjoy these while supervising their children.

Bringing Your Own Food: You are welcome to bring your own food, but please do not eat in the play area. We have designated eating areas for snacks and meals.

Dietary Restrictions: If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform our staff before your visit to ensure we can accommodate their needs.

We will not post images of children’s faces without written consent. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform a staff member upon arrival.

Social Media: We encourage families to share their Play Hideaway experiences on social media! However, we ask that you be mindful of others in the space. Photographing or filming other guests, particularly children who are not your own, is not allowed. Our staff reserves the right to ask anyone who does not adhere to this policy to leave the premises.

Respect for Others: We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families. Please respect the personal space, belongings, and privacy of others.
